Today in History - August 9, 2007
August 9, 1969 -
This day in history:
The Manson Family struck. They found Roman Polanski’s Benedict Canyon home, killing Polanski’s pregnant wife, actress Sharon Tate and 4 other people - Among them, coffee heiress Abigail Folger. The others murdered were Roman Polanski’s life long friend, Wojiciech Frykowski, Steven Parent and Tate’s former fiance’ John Thomas “Jay” Seabring. Written on the walls in blood, “Death to Pigs!” Two days later The Manson Family struck again, this time they killed Rosemary and Leno LaBianca. The murders were all horrendous - The Manson Family are all still where they belong, in prison.
